Christmas preparations
and celebrations


Christingle Service:  Sunday 11th December at 5 pm

An informal service suitable for children and adults in which we use a decorated orange to remember the reason for Christmas.  A collection of money is taken to give to The Children's Society.

Messy Church:  Saturday 17th December at 3 - 4.30pm 

Crafts and fun for children & adults.  

 

Nativity + Communion:  Sunday 18th December at 9.30am

A dramatic re-telling of the Christmas Story by children and adults within a service of Holy Communion.

Traditional Carol Service:  Sunday 18th December at 6 pm

Not quite cathedral standard, but we re-tell the good news of God's coming among us with the traditional 9 readings from the bible and carols, with the atmosphere enhanced by candles.

Christmas Eve: Crib Service at 5pm

A simple very informal celebration of Christmas aimed at children (and the young at heart)

Christmas Eve Mid-night Holy Communion at 11.30pm

A traditional communion service (also known as Midnight Mass)

Christmas Day :  Holy Communion at 9.30am
