Christenings and Baptisms

rector Liz with babyWhen a baby is baptised, parents and Godparents make a commitment to bring the baby up as part of the Church family and learn what it means to be a friend of Jesus. This ceremony is often called being Christened.

If you are interested in your baby being baptised then the first step is simple – come and see us!  Enquiries can be made at our Friday night office hour.  Come along to the church building 7-8pm on the second or fourth Friday evening of the month.  The office is at the stop of the steps at the New Street/Church Street corner of the building.  (Not open on Good Friday or Fridays around Christmas)

If you are an adult and you want  to explore what it might mean to be baptised then please get in touch - email or phone us..... or just come along to church service on a Sunday or Wednesday.
